 There are 18,000 volumes in the school library.

 25. Why does your library want to be a member of RILINK?

 Due to Block Island's small population, and corresponding small student enrollment, the school library has limited resources. RILINK will considerably broaden the resources available to students, thus enhancing their education. Furthermore, the Block Island School Library maintains resources that may be of interest to students at other schools. These include material on Block Island History, ornithology and environmental issues. The Block Island School houses a collection of preserved birds that have been found on or near the island. These are used in the school's bird study program and is available to others by appointment. (The birds do not circulate).
